GB-21. Guard bed for hydrotreating catalyst
Alumina-nickel-molybdenum composite. developed for hydrotreating middle and heavy petroleum distillates complementary to the main catalyst. Active components improve the feed preliminary hydroforming and prevent coking.

Inert guard catalyst is used as a contact bed and guard bed in diverse units for petrochemicals and refining.
GB-42. Protective layer for hydrotreating catalyst
Applied as a component of a multilayer catalyst system loaded into the reactor to improve distribution of the gas-feed mixture, partial feed preparation for the hydrotreating process, feed demetallization, adsorption of mechanical impurities and residual moisture in the feed. Effective for silicon capturing, significantly reduce the impact of deposits on the pressure drop inside the hydrotreaters and is available in the grooved ring shape.

Applied in hydrotreating reactors for petroleum and diesel fractions to prevent pressure drop increase, partial hydrotreating feed preparation by partial hydrogenation of the most active unsaturated hydrocarbons to prevent polymerization in the main catalyst bed.
